We are a leadership training program for the larger Manhattan Beach California community. As you can quickly surmise, our website is out of date and frightfully expensive (over $1000 a year for service). We need a new site and your help would be welcome.
Thanks!

We've been a non-profit for a few years and don't have much of a site, I'd love to use your website tools to create some beautiful and functional. I think it would greatly help our organization's presence online and a good way for volunteers to communicate and a good outlet for us to blog and write upcoming events for the organization. Thank you for the consideration!

I really like your website designs and the content management system you are offering. We are a non-profit without a website, but have a big vision and passion to help raise money for orphans and tell their story. I've sent you more details in an email. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Brand Name
Arche’ International (pronounced “R-Kay”)

About Us:
Arche’ International is a non-profit group seeking to provide quality of life improvements in locations throughout the world. We are new. This effort was launched a few months ago, starting in Fort Portal, Uganda, which is west of Kampala in Eastern Africa. Our motto is: “Reaching Communities with the Essentials, and then with the Gospel”

Arche's mission is initially focused on medical & sanitation related infrastructure needs, including medical clinics, and water/well production and distribution Our goal is to utilize existing materials and labor to create simple, sustainable facilities that can reproduced by local skill sets in other surrounding areas. We will use the Micro-Loan business model to empower local citizens to maintain what is created. Arche’ International is a non-secular organization that includes doctors, engineers, architects, mid-wives, and people of vision, commitment and passion. Arche’ International is initially focused in Uganda Africa, but will eventually branch out into areas of South America as well, though that may be a few years down the road.

You can view a short video about our activities in Uganda thus far:

We have designed a logo, viewable here:

A few months ago I started looking into website creation for Arche’. I have been undecided between rolling my own xHTML/CSS site, or using WordPress, or a CMS solution. Then I found LightCMS. I was intrigued by all the church and Ministry related sites used as examples. More recently, now that the logo and letter head projects are completed, I was thrilled to be notified of this give-away web-site opportunity. It would be a great blessing to our ministry to launch our site to assist our fund raising efforts without diverting our limited funds from our ongoing work in Uganda.

Target Audience
Through our [future] website, we are hoping to attract high income earning financial donors as well as skilled medical staff, civil & structural engineers, and general volunteers. Our website should emphasize credibility, professionalism, and commitment. We must appeal to banks, international charity organizations, and donors. We must have a legitimate, business like presence to assist with our local governmental relationships. An example site that we greatly admire and appreciate is www.plantwithpurpose.org, though in terms of content (not style) the following site is similar to what we have in mind: http://www.womf.org/

We are very thankful to learn of this contest and I look forward to watching it develop.

Cheers!
